MY PERSONAL (ART) JOURNEY
As I'm a very visual person, I always liked to paint and create. It already started in early childhood. Art has always been a way I personally experience total freedom and peace.
Later on in my training as an art therapist in Switzerland, I also learned the value of images in connection with memory and our emotions. Images leave their mark. Experiences and images often stay and influence our daily life- but can be changend through painting!
Even though through the last years I was able to help clients to paint, I didn't have had lots of time to paint myself. I was busy with my studies in art therapy, my absolutely wonderful job as an art therapist and my growing family.
Since I moved to the US I now have time to not only work as an non-clinical art therapist but also as an artist myself. I have discovered that painting is not just about the technique I use but it’s my way of journaling.
I hope my artwork will bless you as much as I enjoy beeing creative and I am looking forward to joining you in your personal art journey.
